Job Title: Application SW Engineer

Duties:
Responsible for Application and Tools software in the field of Consumer Electronics for Windows, Android, or iPhone/iPad based products, including the analysis, programming and debugging in Java, VB, and/or Objective-C. Works with system software engineering team and the FW team to help define APIs and networking application middleware protocols and provide software packages for customers. Build tools based on emerging world standard in HD Home Networking for our customers and related products. Familiarity with GUI Builders, Codecs API/Framework, HTTP/Socket protocols are all advantages.

Minimum Requirements:
Position requires knowledge and exposure to software Applications and tools for Mutli-media. Proficiency in Microsoft VB, C#, C/C++, Java, and or HTTP based tools are all advantages. Familiarity with popular SDK,s such as Android/Eclipse, Windows based tools, and Apple mobile SDKs. BS in CS or related fields, MS or equivalent industry experience.

Job Title: FW Engineer

Duties:
Responsible for embedded systems engineering in the field of Consumer Electronics for System on Chip (SoC) semi-conductor products, including the analysis, programming and debugging of a low level C/C++ and assembly Hardware Abstraction Layer for embedded chips and the complementary testing tools. Works with chip design engineering team to help write diagnostic programs and device drivers to validate the hardware (that is creating and implementing the emerging world standard in HD Home networking standard) and provide software packages for customers. Familiarity with HDMI, Codecs, Ethernet, USB technologies are all advantages.

Minimum Requirements:
Position requires knowledge and exposure to software and hardware design (including embedded system peripherals). Typically programs in high level languages, i.e., C, C++ and assembly language. In depth use of Linux embedded software programming for Single Board Computers including the Chips that the company is developing. Influences hardware design through software testing and debugging. Coordinates integration of software functions in required timeline and designs the software architecture for customized solutions. BS in CS or related field, MS or equivalent industry experience.

Job Title: System SW Engineer

Duties:
Responsible for system software in the field of Consumer Electronics for System on Chip (SoC) semi-conductor products, including the analysis, programming and debugging of a low level C/C++ and assembly Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) for embedded chips and the associated tools. Works with chip design engineering team and the FW team to help write APIs for the HAL and provide software packages for customers. Works with Application and GUI engineers to design and implement middleware libraries and API’s. Familiarity with HDMI, Codecs, Ethernet, USB technologies are all advantages.

Minimum Requirements:
Position requires knowledge and exposure to software and hardware (UART, I2C, Ethernet, DMA HW).Typically programs in high level languages, i.e., C, C++ and some assembly language. Should be familiar with Linux device driver software programming for Single Board Computers for Consumer Electronics devices. Influences hardware design and software tools through software testing, debugging and design. Help develop, implement and validate the emerging world standard in HD Home networking standard. Coordinates integration of software functions in required timeline and designs the software architecture for customized solutions. BS in CS or related fields, MS or equivalent industry experience.
